A. Megan Farmer is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation and a minor in Zoology. Megan is qualified and experienced in environmental permitting at the federal, state and local levels. She is well versed in environmental mapping, wetland delineation and mitigation planning. Megan has also performed environmental monitoring subsequent to permitting and construction. Unlike most other ecologists, Megan spent her first few years after college in laboratories as well as the field measuring and monitoring water quality for non-potable and public drinking water supplies including Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
As an ecologist for a local engineering firm, Megan worked on the Southwest Regional Airport expansion permitting. The Livingston Road Extension project required her to orchestrate and execute the permitting for and relocation of endangered wildlife. Megan's wide and extensive personal experience gives her a unique understanding of the natural environment while ensuring each project meets and exceeds the clients needs and expectations. Her work in both the public and private sectors gives Megan a broad range of environmental experience from the lab to the field to the office that compliments David Farmer's balanced approach to development.
